Côte des Barin Urvillessa sijaitseva sympaattinen talo on sukupolvenvaihdoksen kynnyksellä, kun Charline on vähitellen ottamassa tilan hoitoonsa edelliseltä sukupolvelta veljiensä Hugon ja Antoinen kanssa. Uusia tuulia on jo aistittavissa – viinitarhoilla, viinitilalla ja viineissä – mutta kunnioittaen kuitenkin suuresti nimensä historiaa ja perintöä. Tule tapaamaan Charlinea, oppimaan ja maistamaan, miltä Drappierin tulevaisuus näyttää!

Humanistisista tieteistä innostuneen Charlene Drappierin laajaan opintoalaan kuuluivat ensin kirjallisuus, sitten maantiede La Sorbonnessa ja liikkeenjohtaminen EDHEC:ssä. Vuonna 2015 hän liittyi perheeseensä samppanjataloon ja työskenteli sille ensin Yhdysvaltain markkinoilla. Vuonna 2017 hän palasi Urvilleen ja lopulta hänestä tuli Drappierin kaupallinen johtaja.

“We have one foot in the earth, the other under a table at a Michelin-starred restaurant. How lucky we are! I am looking forward to the next 50 years with my brothers, to the evolution of Drappier, of our family and our wines”, says Charline Drappier, 8th generation member of the famed Drappier champagne family based in Urville in Côte des Bar. The house is now in transmission as Charline is gradually taking over from the previous generation with her brothers Hugo and Antoine. New winds can already be sensed – in the vineyards, at the winery and in the wines – but with utmost respect to the history and heritage of their family name. Come and meet Charline to learn and taste what the future of Drappier looks like!

Passionate by the humanities, Charlene Drappier’s vast field of studies included first literature, then geography at La Sorbonne and management at EDHEC. In 2015, she joined her family Champagne House, first working for it on the US market. In 2017, she returned to Urville and eventually became commercial director of the House of Drappier.
