Master Class -luennollaan toimitusjohtaja Clovis Taittinger kertoo perheomisteisen Taittingerin värikkäästä historiasta, perheen visiosta luotsata tätä Champagnen kolmanneksi vanhinta taloa ja sen tavasta tehdä samppanjaa. Pureudumme talon tyyliin Taittingerin hurmaavan luksussamppanjan Comtes de Champagnen kautta, joka lukeutuu alueen ikonisimpien blanc de blancsien joukkoon. Pääsemme maistamaan himoitun huippuvuoden 2008 samppanjan lisäksi niin haastavan 2011, monumentaalisen 2012 ja elegantin 2013 vuosikerran Comtes de Champagnet.

Clovis Taittinger on Pierre-Emmanuel Taittingerin vanhin lapsi. Clovis kasvoi Reimsissä ja opiskeli historiaa Sorbonnessa ja kauppatieteitä Lillen EDHEC:issa. Hän aloitti perheyrityksen leivissä syyskuussa 2007. Clovis edustaa perhettä kansainvälisesti ja hän vastaa myös talon rypäleiden ostoista ja viljelijäkontakteista. Clovis Taittinger nimitettiin talon toimitusjohtajaksi vuoden 2020 alussa.

In his Master Class chief executive officer Clovis Taittinger shares the colourful history of this family owned champagne house, the third oldest in Champagne. He sheds light to the family’s vision in guiding the old yet modern house and defines its style in the making. We will get to savour the elegant house style via several iterations of its prestigious Comtes de Champagne cuvée, one of the region’s most iconic blanc de blancs Champagnes. In addition to the coveted top vintage 2008, Clovis will show us Comtes de Champagne from the challenging 2011, the monumental 2012 and the elegant 2013 harvest years.

Clovis Taittinger is the eldest child of Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger. Clovis grew up in Reims and studied history in Sorbonne and economics at EDHEC in Lille. He joined the family business in September 2007. Clovis represents the family particularly internationally and is also responsible for the purchase of the estate’s grapes and contacts with the growers. Clovis Taittinger was appointed CEO of the house at the beginning of 2020.
