Pol Rogerin Vinothèque on arvostettu kokoelma talon menneiden vuosikertojen samppanjoita. Pol Rogerin rakenteikkaat ja ikääntymiskykyiset samppanjat ansaitsevat aikaa ilmeikkyytensä ja kerroksellisuutensa paljastamiseksi. Tässä eksklusiivisessa tastingisssa Pol Rogerin suvun viidennen sukupolven perheen edustaja Hubert de Billy avaa ovet talon tarkoinvarjeltuun vanhojen vuosikertojen Vinothèqueen esitellen meille upeita herkkuja talon Blanc de Blancsista, Vintagesta ja lopuksi sen legendaarisesta Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill luksusamppanjasta.

Pol Roger lukeutuu harvoihin perheomisteisiin samppanjatiloihin ja Hubert de Billy on samppanjasuvun edustaja viidennessä sukupolvessa. De Billy on työskennellyt Pol Rogerilla vuodesta 1988 alkaen, ja hän vastaa tällä hetkellä talon viestinnästä ja brändin rakentamisesta. Hän on ollut hallituksen jäsen vuodesta 1998 asti. Yhdessä kellarimestari Damien Cambresin kanssa de Billy esittelee talon viinisekoitukset suvun hyväksyttäväksi. Hubert de Billyllä on kolme lasta, joten jatkajia suvun samppanjatraditiolle löytyy.

Pol Roger’s well-built and and age-defying champagnes deserve to be savoured with further time on cork to maximise the expression and to reveal all the layers built in the wines. In this exclusive master class Pol Roger’s fifth generation family incumbent Hubert de Billy opens the doors to the precious Vinothèque showing us fabulous treats of the House’s Blanc de Blancs, Vintage and finally its legendary Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill prestige cuvée.

Pol Roger remains one of the few family-owned champagne houses and Hubert de Billy represents the family’s fifth generation. De Billy has worked at Pol Roger since 1988, and today he is in charge of communications and branding, having been a member of the board since 1998. Together with cellar master Damien Cambres, de Billy presents the cuvées for the family’s approval. Hubert de Billy has three children, securing the continuity of the family tradition.
