Jean-Christophe Delavenne pyrkii johdonmukaisesti harmoniaan luonnon kanssa viininvalmistustyylillä, joka perustuu luonnon elinvoimaisuuteen. Perheen jalot Bouzyn terroirit ovat tarjonneet upeat puitteet luomumenetelmien käyttöön jo vuosia. Vuonna 2021 kovien säähaasteiden edessä Jean-Christophe laajensi lähestymistapaansa luomuviininviljelyn ulkopuolelle ottamalla käyttöön vaihtoehtoisen naturopaattisen menetelmän, litoterapian. Liity Jean-Christophen seuraan ja tutustu intohimoiseen viljelijän katsantokannan kautta Champagnen viininviljelyyn ja maineikkaaseen Bouzyn terroiriin.

Jean-Christophe Delavenne on neljännen sukupolven ”Vigneron”, itsenäinen samppanjanviljelijä ja -tuottaja. Hänen viininvalmistuksensa tähtää Pinot Noirin ja Chardonnayn ominaisuuksien säilyttämiseen esitellen hänen perheensä viinitarhojen terroiria Bouzyssa, Ambonnayssa ja Cramantissa. Yhteisölleen omistautunut Jean-Christophe on myös SGV:n (Syndicat General de Vignerons) valvoja, jonka tehtävänä on edistää viestintää viljelijöiden käsityötyylien moninaisuudesta.

The family’s noble Bouzy terroirs have provided wonderful grounds for using organic methods for years already. Facing intense climate challenges in 2021, Jean-Christophe expanded his approach beyond organic winegrowing, adopting an alternative naturopathic methodology, lithotherapy. Join Jean-Christophe for a passionate grower’s look into Champagne viticulture and Bouzy terroir.

Jean-Christophe Delavenne is a 4th-generation ”Vigneron,” an independent champagne grower and producer. His winemaking is dedicated to preserving the pure, unadulterated characteristics of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, showcasing the terroir of his family’s vineyards in Bouzy, Ambonnay, and Cramant. Dedicated to his community, Jean-Christophe is also an administrator for the SGV (Syndicat General de Vignerons) with the role of promoting increased communication about the rich variation of artisanal styles that grower champagne has to offer.
